Landlord can no longer take higher depsoit for a pet. You can howver mitigte the costs by charging a higher rent for a range of pets to put aside shoud there be issues. However this amount MUST ber advertsed as such when you first put the property up for rent. So when it advertised enusre your needs are met by informing us in advacne.
Homematch have addred in a stadrad policy into our advets on line that states the following;
Applicant / Tenant
Rent @ 5 weeks of p.c.as notified per property.
One months rent in advance
Cleared funds one week before move in.
Holding Deposit @ 1 week rent as notified by advertisment
Be aware many agents ask for a fees in different ways and may not make that clear. i.e a contract fee, an application fee etc hidden. Nothing is hidden above. There are no extra charges. We only ever take a fee of one application per property!
Renewal of Assured Short-hold Tenancy (AST)
If requested by tenant. Change in circumstances
Initial six month short-hold tenancy available.
Rental charges do not include utilities (gas & electric, if applicable) and council tax and water rates are payable by the tenant.
Strictly no pets without permission.A rent price will be advertsied if pets are allowed.
If pets are allowed an increased rent will be advertised per pet.
Any caged / tank animal: £10 per month
Cat / similar size pet: £20 per month
Dog: £30 per month
Our Landlords are now insisting that all tenants have contents insurance and also accidental damage to landlords property. A copy of insurance will be required on date of tenancy.
